Therapy Rates & Insurance
Insurance
I am not currently accepting insurance, but am in the process of credentialing with BCBS and will update the website once I am able to accept clients with BCBS.
If you have out-of-network benefits with your health insurance, I am happy to provide you with the necessary documentation, a superbill, which you may submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please be aware that a part of what insurance requires is a mental health diagnosis. I strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company to find out the details of your plan with respect to mental health benefits. The number may be located on the back of your insurance card.
Self-Pay
For individual therapy, the charge for a regular session, 50-55 minutes, is $175. The first appointment is an intake assessment. The goal of the intake is to determine presenting clinical concerns, obtain history, and develop a preliminary plan for treatment. The intake will be 75 minutes, and the charge is $225.
A 15-minute initial phone consultation is free.
Payment is due at the time of service.
In accordance with the "No Surprises Act", self-pay patients will be provided with a written "Good Faith Estimate" prior the first session. Patients may also request a written estimate for treatment costs at any time.
